We recognise that cost is a significant factor for most people today and so we have put together our “Simple Farewell” to help people wanting to keep the price in check but still have a meaningful service

*Disbursements or third party costs are those which funeral directors have no control over but are paid out by them on behalf of clients. They include, amongst others, cremation or burial fees, doctor fees, minister or celebrant fees, newspaper notices and floral tributes. The full cost of this option is payable 24 hours before the day of the cremation.

Included in the Simple Farewell fees:

Bringing the person who has died into our care
Our gentle and sensitive care of the person who has died, including washing and dressing them in their own clothes if wished
A simple, dignified coffin
Our professional services throughout the arrangements, attending to the necessary medical and legal requirements, allowing the family to spend time with the person who has died in our peaceful and comfortable setting
The necessary staff and vehicle to convey the person who has died to the crematorium (this can be accompanied by family members, but there will be no service, and the time and location is chosen by the funeral director)
Collection and delivery of the cremated remains
The required fees payable (doctors and early morning cremation) Presence of a celebrant to oversee a simple service
